There’s debate about the exact statistical rate and the causes of the decline, and there are many good venues for poetry today, yet the number of adults who read poetry, as surveyed by the NEA, has decreased by approximately half in the past two decades. Less than 10 percent of adults read any poetry at all. More than ever, the economics of poetry are such that poetry is for the most part a subsidized, rather than a profitable, enterprise. Poets and poetry publishers are engaged in labors of love, aided by donors who believe in the importance of poetry.”

What a gorgeous wedding and how fitting that HRH the Duchess of Cambridge had so many trees brought into Westminster Abbey for the occasion.

But this post is really about how I became a men’s fashion blogger. It all has to do with fairy tales and romance and weddings. Really, it has to do with one particular fairy tale, romance, and wedding, and no, I do not mean my own, nor do I mean Prince William’s. Thanks to Frugal Fiancee at Fashion Deal Diva, I landed my role as GUYS BUYS shopper/blogger. One great thing about finding deals on men’s items is that I can use my sleuthing power for deals without risk of losing my bank account to everything I come across on my path to the day’s post. I find some cool stuff, so be sure to swing by sometime.
